Located in the beautiful Santa María Bay, between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, the stunning Montage Los Cabos hotel (recognized with the Forbes Five-Star award) will host the first edition of Arte Culinaria, an event that blends the best of cuisine with the art and local culture of Baja California Sur, bringing together six of the most influential chefs in the world to offer intimate gastronomic experiences, immersive tastings, and exclusive storytelling encounters in one of the most acclaimed destinations in Mexico.

For lovers of international haute cuisine, the inaugural edition of Arte Culinaria will take place from May 22 to 25, featuring renowned Mexican chefs Jorge Vallejo (Quintonil, Mexico City), holder of two Michelin stars, and Daniela Soto-Innes (Rubra, Punta Mita), named World’s Best Female Chef 2019.

They will be joined by global culinary icons Dominique Crenn (Atelier Crenn, San Francisco) and Julien Royer (Odette, Singapore), both awarded three Michelin stars. Also participating are Richard Lee (Saison, San Francisco), recognized with two Michelin stars, and Manu Buffara (Restaurant Manu, Brazil), named Latin America’s Best Female Chef 2022.

The lineup of experts is complemented by two talents from the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy: Cris Hanhausen (Momiji, Mexico City) and Erick Bautista (NOL, Mérida), who will be responsible for the “Welcome to Baja” moment.

To round out the program, Arte Culinaria will welcome four of the most influential cocktail institutions in the world. Among them are three from Mexico City: Handshake Speakeasy, ranked No. 1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024; Tlecān, ranked No. 23 in 2025; and Licorería Limantour, ranked No. 52 in 2025. The lineup is completed by Bar Crenn, the renowned bar by Dominique Crenn in San Francisco.

Together, these leading figures of international haute cuisine will create a series of intimate experiences offering attendees a rare closeness to the architects of contemporary gastronomic storytelling.

For that weekend, activities are designed as a multisensory exploration, including collaborative Four-Hands dining experiences, cultural workshops, luxury yacht excursions, immersive beverage tastings, and a signature celebration by the sea under the night sky of Baja California Sur.

Curated by Xavier Salomon, Culinary Director of Montage International, these experiences will take place across various spaces at Montage Los Cabos, specially adapted to create closeness between chefs and guests, between land and table, and between tradition and innovation.

Tickets for the first edition of this gathering that blends the best of international cuisine with the art and local culture of Baja California Sur, including accommodation packages, are now available at: arteculinaria.com.mx
