Talking with Bibiana Huber is discovering a creator who designs from the soul. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, with Swiss and Mexican roots, Huber combines European precision with Latin American warmth in each of her projects. Trained in fine arts in Florence, Italy, and later in industrial design at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, her career reveals a deeply artistic and emotional vision of space.
“Starting a concept is the most exciting part of the process; it’s when everything is possible,” she confesses. And that excitement is evident in her work: projects such as Paradero Hotel in Todos Santos, Aldea Mayab Bacalar, and Hotelito Desconocido—which she designed at only 22 years old—demonstrate her ability to transform materials, light, and landscape into sensory experiences.
At the helm of her firm *B-Huber Estudio, Bibiana has collaborated with brands such as Four Seasons, Hilton, and Marriott, bringing her vision to boutique hotels and luxury residences in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Fiji. Her style is distinguished by the constant dialogue between architecture and environment: spaces where stone, wood, and local craftsmanship tell stories.
Awarded the Revelation Prize at the CIDI Ibero-American Biennial, two gold medals for best integration of art and design, and recognized by Architectural Digest, Huber redefines what it means to design with sensitivity. “My purpose is to create places that connect with emotion and remind us of the beauty of inhabiting the world.”
